More Papertrey Ink Release - Holiday Tag Along Mini Kit!

It's Tuesday and time for Day FOUR of the Papertrey Ink post-release celebration!
Today's highlighted stamp set in the most fabulous MIM Mini Kit:Holiday Tag Along. Betsy's kit includes not only THE most fabulous tag dies/stencils/papers, but also the loveliest of stamps...... some of which I have featured here today.

This color scheme may be a bit of a departure from the traditional holiday palette, but I wanted to try something a little bolder in this Blueberry Sky/Spring Rain/Bitty Big:True Black combination. Wouldn't a card/project in b/w + bolder color (Raspberry Fizz? Hawaiian Shores?) look great too? Yup.... trying this out next!

Isn't that pretty little sentiment from Very Merry just the loveliest of font combinations?

Many thanks for taking a peek today.  Please be sure to check out Nichole's blog, as her post is just chock full of inspiration! Lots from Betsy, Dawn, Heather, Laurie, Lizzie, Melissa, Stephanie and Wanda too! HAPPY creating!

More Papertrey Ink Release - Cutaway Tags:Winter!

Welcome to DAY 3 of Papertrey Ink's post-release celebration, where I am highlighting the new Cutaway Tags: Winter stamps and dies!
You could just re-name my very messy craft cave 'Tag Central' because I am producing lots and lots of holiday happiness AND am getting waaay ahead (yay!) in preparation for my Christmas 2017 gift giving!

I've used the three new Bitty Big colors (Pure Poppy, Simply Chartreuse, Pinefeather), Fresh Snow Linen and the Cutaway Tags: Winter die to create this trio. Although a bit hard to see, there's a hint of sparkle in the tiny clear sequins on the bough branches!

Many thanks for taking a peek today.  Please be sure to check out Nichole's blog, as her post is just chock full of inspiration! Lots from Betsy, Dawn, Heather, Laurie, Lizzie, Melissa, Stephanie and Wanda too! HAPPY creating!

CAS(E) this Sketch #237

Hi there and welcome to CTS #237 (and my second post for today)! Here's another lovely sketch from Chrissy. And, as always, the DT has come up with some really great designs.....that kinda have me thinking I should have another go at this sketch!
Some shades from the cooler end of the spectrum play nicely with the Smokey Shadows card base and 'hello' sentiment. The little blocks of color are all stamped/placed by eye, but perhaps I shoulda/coulda used my MISTI for more saturated/perfect inking. Oh well.... I had fun playing and experimenting!
We hope that you'll play along at CAS(E) this Sketch #237. Can't wait to see your creation in the CTS gallery!

The DT has some amazing inspiration! So...... be sure to HOP on over and join the party.

Papertrey Ink STAMP-A-FAIRE 2017!!

Happy Fri-yay and welcome to Papertrey Ink's big STAMP-A-FAIRE 2017! There's SO MUCH going on during this extended, three-day extravaganza......a weekend full of inspiring projects, an abundance of challenges, videos, guest artists, prizes, AND the chance to earn the SAF exclusive stamp set, Ever So Much!

I am pleased to be presenting my 'Cotton' project, representing the traditional Second Anniversary gift. I've used crinoline, usually made of cotton or linen, for my lavender sachet. This fabric not only accepts colors well (PTI ink pads or re-inkers and Copic markers) but also cuts beautifully when using the Papertrey dies. The crinoline has such great body that it can even be trimmed with your paper cutter!
P.S. - I found the crinoline at my favorite LSS, Buffalo Stamps and Stuff, BUT it can also be found at JoAnns.... it was located in the 'utility fabrics' section. And, a little goes a long way!

Hopefully, you will excuse my newbie-ness and my fumbling through my very first (EVER!) video.Yup, all in one take. Jeez, did ya' hear me say 'parakeet pete' instead of 'Green Parakeet'? Gah!

Although there may be a bit less demonstrating in my video (and a whole lot more talking!), I have faith that all of you will all see the beauty in all of the vibrantly colored florals and leaves and will give this challenge a try! Put those pretty petals on anything and everything...... banners, tags, cards, favor boxes, etc.

Many thanks for joining me tonight! Be sure to follow along this weekend and PLAY along with any/all of the incredible challenges that the STAMP-A-FAIRE event inspires. Nichole's blog is just jam-packed with activities..... and there's lots of time to play along (as a reminder, you will have until 7 am ET, Thursday, August 31st to add your links to any of the challenges/lists to be eligible to win!)

More Papertrey Ink Release- Hey Stacks, Stencil Basics:Dots

Happy Sunday and welcome to the fifth and final day of Papertrey Ink's August post-release celebration! We hope that you've enjoyed each and every added bit of inspiration. I know that I have, and I've also picked up some really fantastic ideas for using some of those fabulous August goodies.
Today's lovelies are Hey Stacks AND Stencil Basics: Dots, two stamps/stencils that are sure to become an integral part of your stamping arsenal. SO many great sentiments and graphic designs in Hey Stacks! And don't get me started on Stencil Basics: Dots. I would put polka dots on every single stamping project if I thought that it might be acceptable!

It doesn't get much more CAS than this, with bold and bright colors - stamped multiple times with my MISTI to get that nice, full saturation. I'm kind of liking the simplicity of this one (although it took a few tries to get this one right!).

Next up are the Stencil Basics: Dots, which come in two sizes. I've used the smaller dots here, which creates such great backgrounds. I can see many, many uses for this stencil in my future! And, once again, those lovely Sunflower Harvest florals, this time in pink.

Many thanks for taking a peek today, and for following along with all of the post-release celebration! Please be sure to pop on over to Nichole's blog where you'll find much more August inspiration and fabulous projects from the rest of the fabulous PTI crew! AND, AND...... looking forward to all of the STAMP-A-FAIRE festivities next weekend!! Whoo hoo!
